Cardiff City returned to the Premier League for a second time in 2018/19, having secured an unlikely promotion from the Championship the season previous. Led by Neil Warnock, the Bluebirds were tipped for relegation, but incredibly finished second to gain an automatic promotion berth. They previously finished bottom of the Premier League in 2013/14 - their only other Premier League appearance.
